1. Who we are
These terms apply to all services and goods supplied by ETEK GLOBAL RESSOURCES SARL, share capital [to be completed in ETEK Settings], registered in Paris under SIREN 977 819 630 (RCS Paris 977 819 630), VAT number FR34 977 819 630, registered office Lot 41, 66 avenue des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris, France (“ETEK”, “we”). Contact: info@eteknotions.com, +33 7 85 40 02 74.
2. Scope
We provide concierge and lifestyle services, car rental without driver, the sourcing, purchase and sale of vehicles on behalf of clients, personal shopping and sourcing of luxury goods, event organisation and corporate concierge services. Each engagement is governed by these terms and by the quotation, booking confirmation or contract that applies to it. If they conflict, the quotation or contract prevails.
3. Quotations and orders
Except for car rentals booked online at published prices, every service starts with a written quotation that lists our fee, the price of any goods and any third-party costs separately. A quotation is valid for the period stated on it. The order is placed when you accept the quotation in writing and, where required, pay the amount due.
Where the law requires it, we verify your identity and, for high-value transactions, your address and the source of funds before accepting an order. We may refuse or end an engagement if these checks cannot be completed or if a request is unlawful.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are in euros and include VAT where it applies. Payment is made by card through Stripe or by bank transfer to our company account, against an invoice. We accept payment only for contracted goods and services. ETEK is not a bank, payment institution, money-transfer business or escrow service.
5. Car rental without driver
The driver must be at least the minimum age shown on the vehicle’s page, hold a valid driving licence for the number of years shown, and present a passport or ID card and a credit card in their own name at handover. A security deposit is held on that card and released after the vehicle is returned and inspected.
The rental period, pick-up and return place are those in the booking confirmation. Late returns are charged at the hourly rate. The vehicle is returned with the same fuel level. Kilometres beyond the allowance are charged at the rate shown on the vehicle’s page. The driver is responsible for traffic and parking fines during the rental. The vehicle is insured; in the event of damage, the insurance excess of [amount to be completed] is payable by the client unless the damage was caused by a third party identified in a joint accident report. The vehicle may not be sublet, used on a track, used for paid transport or taken outside [countries to be completed] without our written consent.
6. Vehicle sourcing, purchase and sale
When we search for, buy or sell a vehicle on your behalf, we act under a written mandate that sets our fee and its scope. Ownership passes directly between the seller and the buyer. We provide the vehicle’s documents and inspection report before you commit.
7. Luxury goods
All goods we source are genuine and obtained through reputable and professionally verified channels. We do not deal in counterfeit, replica or stolen goods. Ownership passes to you on full payment; risk passes on delivery. Delivery terms are set out in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
8. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer and the contract is concluded at a distance, you have 14 days to withdraw, as explained in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Under Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, this right does not apply to car rental services and leisure services provided on a specific date or period, to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, or to services fully performed with your prior express agreement.
9. Liability
We perform our services with care and are responsible for our own obligations. Where we book a service provided by a third party, such as a hotel, restaurant or carrier, that third party is responsible for its own service under its own terms. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for a delay or failure caused by an event beyond its reasonable control within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code.
11. Complaints and mediation
Send any complaint to info@eteknotions.com. We reply within 15 days. If you are a consumer and we cannot resolve the dispute, you may refer it free of charge to the consumer mediator [mediator name, address and website to be completed]. You may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform.
12. Personal data
We process your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Disputes with business clients are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris. Consumers may bring proceedings before the court of their place of residence.
