Our activities
ETEK NOTIONS provides luxury concierge services, car rental without driver, the sourcing, purchase and sale of vehicles on behalf of clients, personal shopping and sourcing of genuine luxury goods, event organisation, corporate concierge services and lifestyle assistance. These activities match those recorded on our Kbis extract.
What we are not
We are not a bank, payment institution, electronic money institution, money-transfer business, escrow service, investment firm, estate agent or security company. We do not hold money on behalf of clients and we do not accept payments that are not tied to a contracted service or product.
Contracts and invoices
Each engagement is covered by a written quotation or contract that the client accepts before any work starts. Every payment is matched by an invoice showing our company details, the service or goods, the price and the VAT.
Know your customer and anti-money laundering
For vehicle sales and purchases, high-value goods and any engagement where the law requires it, we verify the client’s identity and, where needed, their address and the source of funds before accepting payment. We may decline or stop an engagement when these checks cannot be completed. We do not accept cash payments above the limits set by French law.
Vehicles and suppliers
Rental vehicles are insured and maintained by professionals. For every vehicle we buy or sell for a client we keep the registration certificate, ownership history, service records and inspection report on file and give copies to the client. We work only with established suppliers and keep their details on file.
Authenticity of goods
All products we source are genuine and obtained through reputable and professionally verified channels. We do not deal in counterfeit, replica or stolen goods. Authenticity and provenance documents are given to the client wherever they exist.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe on its secure hosted checkout. Card details are entered on Stripe’s page and never reach our website or our staff. Bank transfers are made to our company account only, against an invoice.
Data protection
We process personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation and French law, only for the purposes explained in our Privacy Policy, and we keep it no longer than needed.
